Saving Private Ryan Shooting technique

In order to increase the sense of reality, Spielberg used almost documentary shooting techniques to shoot the first 25 minutes of the film's landing scene. Before shooting, I didn't think about the storyline at all, but used handheld cameras to track the landing soldiers for close shots most of the time. In order to be faithful to the whole story, and to truly reflect the time the story took place, Spielberg collaborated again with the photographer Janusz Kaminski of Schindler's List. Januzz Kaminski specializes the film negatives to lighten the colors to achieve the effect in the film. Another special photography technique in the film is the use of a 90-degree or 45-degree shutter to shoot this landing scene, shooting the thrilling scenes of the actors' uninterrupted movement and bullets flying across.
