Brandon and Philip are two college students with homosexual tendencies. The two of them conspired to strangle classmate David with a rope and put David's body in a book box. In order to show off their "wisdom", they spread tablecloths on the bookcases, set up tableware, and then invited the deceased's parents, fiancées, classmates and teachers to a banquet. The banquet was held on David's coffin. Brandt lied about David's going out, thereby stabilizing the guests. During the dinner, cowardly Philip became more and more fidgety, while Brandt was eloquent. Between coveting and arranging, Brandt became more and more intoxicated by his crimes, and the truth of the matter was gradually hinted in his speech. Among the guests invited by Brandon and Philip was a professor named Rupert. Rupert was a believer of Nietzsche and often promoted the philosophy of Superman among his students. Brandon and Philip's murderous acts were largely influenced by him. He listened to Brandt's rhetoric, and he felt more and more weird. After the banquet, Rupert returned to the scene with excuses.
