Romeo Must Die evaluation action

The film is Jet Li's first work officially. The ancient Shakespearean plays were moved to modern New Orleans. The Chinese gang members and the daughter of the gangster's rival fell into a life-and-death relationship. The film itself is lacklustre, but several of its features have been carried over to most of his subsequent works, so it is worth mentioning. First of all, this kind of kung fu film in the United States is aimed at a minority market dominated by blacks, so Jet Li is always accompanied by rock rhythm rap music in the film. Secondly, the investment in B-level films is destined to become a good opportunity for new directors to try their hands. These directors are usually just transferred from the advertising or MV industry, so the style is more gorgeous, the rhythm is bright, but it lacks depth. Third, change is of course necessary, but Jet Li has also managed to maintain one of his own principles, that is, the intimacy with the heroine will never end.
