On the eve of the end of World War II, Italian underground rebel leader and engineer Giorgio Manfettiis wanted by the German army. In the crisis, Memphetti flees to the house of his friend Franciscofor shelter. With the help of Francisco's fiancée, Bina, Memphetti meets Don. Father Pietro, and asked the priest to hand over a huge sum of money to the guerrillas. Francisco is arrested for covering Memphetti, and Bina is shot and killed. However, the desperate Manfetti was informed by his girlfriend, and Manfetti and the priest were arrested and imprisoned. The Nazis deliberately tortured Manfetti in front of the priest, and the two eventually died heroically under the torture and bullets of the enemy   .
