The arena at the Pacific National Exhibition Center in the city was chosen as the shooting spot for the final battle between Rocky and Ivan. In the film, the geographical background of the boxing fight is a metropolis in Russia. The scene design Bill Kenny completed the set here with the assistance of decorator Rick Gentz and construction coordinator Roger Owen. 10,000 people in Vancouver Local residents and extras were recruited to play the audience in the arena. Stallone also used the shooting location in Vancouver, Canada to simulate the barren landscape of Russia and set out to capture the natural landscape.
