Black boxer Telao Deopen to the Lodge in a large crowdrejecting his nomination, and really beat Rocky in the ring, then Rocky's old coach so sick Fat died. When Rocky was at a low ebb, former rival Apollooffered himself as Rocky's coach, re-energizing his fighting spirit, Rocky finally won the throne in the rematch.
