The filming of the film took place on March 5, 2001 in the Adlershof Studio, Reichstag subway station and Landsberg Boulevard in East Berlin.
Before the filming started, several protagonists received a three-week military training. They not only had to master the military skills of commandos, but they also had to learn teamwork. Former SEAL member in charge of military training, James Butler, had participated in the filming of "Breaking Frontline" and "The Boys in the Neighborhood". He used Taebo to improve the physical fitness of the actors and trained them to perform karate kicks in line with the rhythm of the music. Leg movements, in order to allow the actors to adapt to the hanging technique, Butler instructed them to use indoor climbing facilities to learn. In addition, Butler also played the zombie Clarence in the film. It is worth mentioning that Colin Selmon and Martin Kluwe received additional special training, because Colin needs to have the right leadership skills, and Martin should be an excellent acrobat and gymnast, Mira Jovovich thought that the audience would no longer accept stunt doubles, and decided to complete all the thrilling actions in person.
