Red Tails evaluation action

The film is a popcorn film with a high level of acting and directing, full of fierce air combat scenes and solid plot, enough for the audience to spend two hours happily.
"Red Tails" is some of the boldest attempts to make the film a meaningful success, which is also due to the concerted efforts of the creators.
The plane in the film is definitely an exciting air combat feast when it goes to the sky, but once it landed, the shallowness of the plot made the whole story unsatisfactory.
The clichés in the film are as intensive as fighter jets, and the dialogue is as rigid as a wooden propeller. The script gives each of the protagonists a personality trait, and some characters don't even have this.

The aerial combat is very enjoyable - it resonates with the film reviews, and the plot is indeed rather boring.

Red Tails quotes

  • Joe 'Lightning' Little: Nothing's difficult. Everything's a challenge. Through adversity to the stars. From the last plane to the last bullet to the last minute to the last man - we fight. WE fight! We FIGHT!

  • Colonel William Mortamus: Eight German fighters or Eighty German fighter, it still doesn't change what I think of you and your boys.

Colonel A.J. Bullard: We don't care.

Colonel William Mortamus: Respect the uniform.

Colonel A.J. Bullard: Believe me, sir, that is all I have respect for.
