Robert De Niro's acting skills and professionalism are beyond words. Winning or losing in boxing is just an appearance, inner turmoil, family turmoil, and the involvement of the Mafia are the quality of life. The film progresses step by step, giving me one surprise after another. This is not a violent gangster film, nor is it an inspirational film. Obviously, he is a biopic that is intense and full of texture without a legend.
