Quartet evaluation action

The film is the directorial debut of 75-year-old Dustin Hoffman. Dustin Hoffman scrupulously abides by his usual caution between "directing" and "acting" and does not show his face in the film, which is a pity for the audience. But also because of this, the audience is fortunate enough to sigh with him outside the camera, watching the fleeting years with red face and white hair, only the movie still creates a dream for the world for a hundred years. An old man gathers a group of old man to create a beautiful dream of aging gracefully both inside and outside the show. It is a pity that it is not known whether it is Dustin Hoffman's own strong "sunset red" plot, or the main creators are bound by the star-studded lineup. The character setting of "Quartet" is extremely simple and immature, and the emotional development is often abrupt. However, for the most enthusiastic audience of the film, logic equals clouds. The audience will be satisfied as long as they can watch these lovely and respectable old people sway the last ray of life on the screen.
Extended Reading
-
Wilf Bond: I read somewhere that the average man thinks of sex every seven seconds.
Reginald Paget: Do you?
Wilf Bond: I wish, it was only every seven seconds.
-
Dr. Lucy Cogan: [Showing a picture] This is Sir Thomas Beecham. He was one of Britain's greatest composers.
Jean: Yes, I know who he was. He inherited a fortune. His grandfather made laxatives. Naming a nursing home after him is frighteningly apt.
