Promised Land negative evaluation

The film’s overly realistic American life in a small town, delicate character emotions, and constantly popping out of American cool humor, I have to admit that these are actually advantages. If the director changes to another one may make people think it’s not bad, but even so, it can’t be changed. The overall mediocre result of this movie. Although the story of ordinary people is told in the shell of environmental protection incidents, and the subtle emotional and psychological changes are expressed from the delicate depiction of the characters, the lack of enough drama conflicts makes the whole movie unable to find any climax, and finally suddenly The turning point was swallowed up even the delicate expressions that had always felt quite interesting, and instantly fell into the most hopeless mode of expression of American mainstream values.
