This film is the first script written by Kelly Fremont, and many of the stories in it are from Fremont's own personal feelings. When writing the screenplay, Fremont did not think too much about the economic trauma that American society was suffering, but because he felt that thousands of freshly graduated college students continued to face the same predicament as Leiden in the film.
After several turns of the script, it fell into the hands of producer Ali Bell, who passed the script to Ivan Reitman. Both showed great interest in the script. With the assistance of Ivan Reitman, the film soon entered the intense preparatory work. Ivan Reitman first showed Kelly Fremont the organizational structure that a movie script should have, retaining all the original characters and the overall story frame. Then, under the guidance of Reitman, Fremont adjusted the rhythm and part of the plot of the script to make it more suitable for the expression of the film   .

I don't know what kind of mentality the person who translated the name was in. . . Where do you live? Where is the guide? Let the graduates fall in love with two or three things, and it's still a bad thing! The extra star just thinks that the heroine is very beautiful. (No wonder it looks so familiar, it turns out to be the beauty in "Summer of Jeans")

It's different from what I thought... The guide should be at least the inspirational story of female graduates who have repeatedly rejected their resumes and tried every means to finally get rid of unemployed through unremitting efforts! And this film is about the romance between the heroine and the kind, hairy and sexy neighbors. To say that the guide is magical, is to pray every day that your strongest competitor suddenly goes crazy and offends the supervisor to lose his job.

Post Grad quotes

  • Ryden Malby: [from the trailer] This is not the way it's supposed to go, you're not supposed to comeback when you've already left the nest!

  • David Santiago: What you do with your life is, really just one half of the equation. The other half, the more important half, really is, who you're with when you're doing it.
