Although "Persepolis" is a flat composition with simple thick lines, audiences who have watched the film will feel emotional. Animation is only a label for the film's expression. What really touches people's hearts is the sincere content and unique temperament of "Persepolis". Since the construction from the original work to the film's directing and adaptation, it was created by Marjan Shatrapi based on personal experience. The film’s depiction of social changes in Iran has a sense of reality that cannot be compared with similar films, although the film’s story reflects Iran’s recent history. The political turmoil and social status quo in the past 30 years, but Majian’s narrative subject from a purely civilian perspective is not limited to the trauma caused by the persecution and attack on a group of people at the time of the Islamic dictatorship, but with the unique sensitivity and delicacy of women. Talking about the ups and downs of my life, his self-deprecating tone of the painful experience, and the emotional expression of tears in the smile when looking back at the past, all moving and empathizing.
