The opening of "Overlord" is a good tonal indicator. When the plane fell to pieces around Boyce, director Julius Avery focused his attention directly on Boyce’s horrified perspective, pushing the audience directly into the blood. Horror scenes of violence. As the story unfolded, the energy of joy became more effective, and the undead of the Nazis lent themselves to more and more flesh and blood. The American soldiers find that the threat they face is bloody zombies, which eventually dominates the second half of the film, which is a highlight of the film. Although most of the cast is confined to rigid character settings, it is still a group of very attractive characters.
