"Over Her Dead Body" is a movie that looked like a dog at the beginning. It is a very boring remake of every movie you have watched where the dead come back to take care of their loved ones. Special effects are almost non-existent, and its budget is far from enough to make this happen. So the movie is full of deficiencies, and the audience must always use their own imagination. The ghosts and tangible creatures involved are almost the same, except that everyone pretends not to see them. For example, Eva Longoria Parker is sitting on the sofa. Although she is considered to be intangible, the sofa cushion will sink and wrap her visibly physical body. This should be regarded as a disaster for the film, but it is not, because although the story is rubbish, the dialogue is quick and witty; although the ghost is quite stupid, Paul Rudd and Lake Bell are very clever in the film.
