Jane Bodin is a maverick and very difficult legal counsel. She needs to help Bolivian presidential candidates use the same set of public relations tactics used in the US election to win the election. When she arrived in Bolivia, former President Pedro Castillo was at a disadvantage, probably ranked sixth and seventh, far behind the socialist politician star Victor Rivera. The election lacks transparency, and Castillo himself has no desire to fight and is indifferent to the well-being of the citizens. Jane’s rival, Pat Candi, served as Rivera’s chief election adviser, which put her into a desperate situation.
Jane and her American colleagues worked together to try to reshuffle the situation. Once Castillo was thrown an egg by an angry demonstrator, Jane used this public event to publicize that she convinced the people of Bolivia that Bolivia is at the crossroads of a major crisis, and Castillo may not be liked.
