The film was filmed on October 21, 1968. The main locations include Bern, Switzerland and Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom . Because the amount of snow in Bern was small that year, it was not conducive to shooting snow action scenes, so the filmmakers once considered changing the location. When shooting the scene of the headquarters of Brofield, the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant located on the summit of Schilthorn was under construction. The crew used a variety of complex shooting techniques to complete this scene.
When filming the scene where Bond and Tracy broke into a car race to avoid chasing and killing, the crew poured out the ice rink on a disabled airstrip. In order to complete a lot of close-ups, Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg and Lazar Bei had to personally go into battle in most of the driving scenes. In April 1969, the crew moved to the Vineyard Manor in Portugal to film the highlight of Bond's marriage. The shooting in Portugal continued until May, and then the crew began filming the beach fight scene at the beginning of the film. The film was finalized in June 1969
