"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is adapted from Ian Fleming's novel. The film was supposed to be a follow-up to "Golden Finger", but because the copyright dispute of the novel "Thunderbolt" was resolved, the producer decided First shot "Thunderbolt", and then started the film, and organized a selection of 12 beauties on the Snow Mountain Castle in 1965. The problem of finding winter locations once again caused the producers to get into trouble. Producers Harry Saltzman and Albert R . Broccoli had to replace the filming with "You Only Live Twice"
