"Obsluhoval jsem anglického krále" everywhere embodies the director's humanity exposition and unique black humor. He was able to put a lot of historical material in the film while at the same time making the film full of entertainment. The portrayal of the small characters in the film not only depicts the kaleidoscope-like state of the world, but also accurately reflects the characteristics of the times of the Czech Republic during the turmoil. What's more commendable is that almost everyone can see their shadow in the film. The protagonist Jane Dieter's dreams, persistence, struggle and contradictions seem to have happened to him
