Rachel is a well-known reporter for The Sun, and can write a column in the newspaper's news section every week. She has a happy family, her husband is a novelist, and her son Timmy is also lively and lovely. Such a comfortable and comfortable middle-class family life should be envied by people. However, an accidental experience broke Rachel's safe and peaceful life and pushed her destiny into an unfathomable abyss. All of a sudden, Rachel turned from a social elite to a prisoner of the government. The cause of the incident was that the President of the United States was assassinated and the government launched military retaliation against Venezuela, a small South American country without conclusive evidence. This incident was accidentally learned by Rachel. After several thoughts, she still wrote a report and disclosed it in The Sun. The report also exposed the identity of the CIA agent Erica. The matter was confidential and so sensitive that it caused an uproar in the United States. The government sent special prosecutor Patton to intervene in the investigation to find out the informant who leaked state secrets to Rachel. The name of this informant is known only by Rachel. It is a matter of principle and promise. She is tight-lipped. Prosecutor Judge Parton detains Rachel in jail until she speaks up to be able to regain her freedom.
