The film is the second film to use both Abraham Lincoln and Napoleon as parody objects of the film. The first is "Abi Adi's Adventure" in 1989.
The film was originally scheduled to be released in the spring of 2009, but the 20th century FOX arranged a large number of films in the spring, so the release was postponed to May 2009.
The film is already the ninth collaboration between Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson; previous works were "Cable TV Repairman", "Perpetual Midnight", "Meet Father-in-Law", "Supermodel", "Trem Bow "The Mu Family", "The Two Heroes of the Police", "Meet Your Father-in-Law 2" and "A Wonderful Night in the Museum".
Like the first episode, the movie rating of "Museum Wonderful Night 2" is also PG for all ages.
The film is the first film to be shot in the Smithsonian Museum.
The film producer originally planned to play Emilia Earhart by Reese Witherspoon.
Hank Azaria worked with Ben Stiller in the movie "Mystery Man" starring him; Azaria also worked with Ben Stiller in "Crazy Dodgeball" and "Meeting Friendship guest performances have appeared in the two films of "Polly".
The film's screenwriters Thomas Lenno and Robert Ben Galant played Wilbur Wright and Orwell Wright, respectively.
Clint Howard (Lon Howard's younger brother) played a flight commander in the film; he played the same role in the film "Apollo 13" directed by his brother.
In an interview with National Public Radio, director Sean Levy said that the Smithsonian Museum allows the use of the museum’s name in the film, and the curator is also very enthusiastic to introduce some of the characters in the film in reality. Helpful information.
