My Blueberry Nights positive review

The pictures and colors of "My Blueberry Nights" can be found in Wong Kar-wai's consistent style. Poetic, soft, nostalgic pale yellow and hazy lights are the background color of the film. The illusory romance of old Hong Kong is in a trance. The brightly lit New York City high-rise buildings also found a foothold. The deliberately slowed shots and dynamic and sexy partial close-ups did not stay between the legs and skirts, but moved to the face. Many close-ups of the face not only test the director, but also the actor's skill
.
The story development of the entire film is completed in a closed space, whether it is a restaurant, a bar, or a casino. Wong Kar-wai wanted to use this road story to tell the physical contact close at hand, but could not change the emotional distance far away. My Blueberry Nights just proves by interpreting the loneliness and emptiness caused by these emotional distances, and the different emotions that these different people inject into life. Sometimes it takes a long journey to find the final emotional home
