(70/100) Neat, smooth and qualified commercial film. High-quality existence in Disney princess movies. Liu Yifei's performance is no problem, the action scene is wonderful, the picture quality is first-rate, and the title design when the subtitles appear at the end of the movie is super beautiful. The Chinese princess Mulan did not disappoint.

Let’s talk about the conclusion first: the shell is a Chinese shell, the soul is still that of a foreigner, the shape is a Japanese geisha, and the core is the old American superheroism. In short, foreign countries have a one-sided understanding of China. . . . . . . It's very uncomfortable to watch, the movie is still obviously Disney style. I can understand that Disney wants to highlight the heroic female character of Mulan, but if the spirit is to belittle China and women as a foil, then I refuse! The whole is quite limited, from the inexplicable role of Gong Li as a witch, to the team of several people who just trained to save the country and the emperor, and then to the strange idea that women are honored with three obediences and four virtues and marrying people. A mix of cultures and styles. The film obviously does not understand Chinese culture and the spirit of Mulan. Probably the words on the sword can best express the spirit of Hua Mulan from beginning to end.
