Mountain Patrol Shooting process

In August 2003, the film officially started shooting. In order to complete the film, director Chuan Lu led more than 100 people into the no-man's land of Mountain Patrol to record the massacre and protection of the French Antilope du Tibet, Tchirou in the form of a documentary. "Mountain Patrol" was all filmed at an altitude of 3,800 meters above sea level, and 30% of the scenes were shot in no-man's land.
In pursuit of real effects, the crew also shot at 6,200 meters from the highest peak of the Mountain Patrol Plateau, Bugdar Peak. On the Bugdal Peak, the crew encountered the things that the mountain patrol team often encounters in the movie: sleeping rough in the wind and snow, extreme hypoxia, headache, dizziness, vomiting, strong altitude sickness, someone with lung infection and heart attack. Some logistics personnel deserted the crew one after another, and one of the main creators ran back to Beijing without asking for any money. By the end of the filming, the crew had changed from more than 100 people to only 60 people in the end. The filming of the film also proceeded very slowly, originally planned for 3 months, but ended up being overdue by more than a month
