Multi-layered dialogue interaction, very suitable for wartime scenes. The overall atmosphere is relaxed, yet the values conveyed are very open-minded. The core characters are individualistic and insightful, no wonder House likes them. It's hard to imagine that it was fifty years ago that such an openness to combine the character of a soldier in the field with a whistle-blower character. amazing creation

This film feels a lot like the black classic novel "Catch 22", although I haven't finished reading the novel, my English is not good. Only then did I discover that the original version of the vulgar Suicide is Painless song was in this movie. I like the black humor he feels overall, although I haven't laughed except for the "Last Supper" scene.

Spearchucker: Call me whatever you want to.
Colonel Blake: Good. Well, I just want you to know that we're all the same here on the playing field.
[pause]
Colonel Blake: Uh, officers and enlisted men alike.
