During the Korean War, a fierce battle between the Chinese and North Korean forces and the United Nations forces was raging. A field hospital of the U.S. Army was occupied by hippies. The crude conditions and bloody work did not make them frustrated, but rather excited them. They used pranks to crowd out stubborn colleagues. Swimming and sunbathing at the crash site, playing golf in the wilderness, using public office to go to Japan to drink and enjoy, and organizing an American football game to place bets and money, turning the battlefield into a playground. At the same time, they also did some good deeds to help the Korean younger brother escape the military service, and used clever tricks to persuade partners who wanted to commit suicide to rescue the dying child through medical skills

20130515jtl Robert Altman, American black humor, everything can be ridiculed, especially war and government, sex is just the spice, absurdity is the main dish. Some of the bridges are quite attentive, and the last supper is full of laughter. Group play, no protagonist, no main line, no climax, anti-drama. The irony is still a little weak. Being a doctor so unrestrained completely subverts the feeling of a doctor on the battlefield.
