In April 1939, President Roosevelt adopted Einstein's suggestion and ordered the establishment of the Uranium Commission to start the development of the Atomic bomb. In June 1942, the U.S. Department of the Army implemented the " Manhattan Project ". On July 16, 1945, a mushroom cloud up to 40,000 feet rose into the air, and the world's first Atomic bomb "Fat Man" was successfully tested.
The development process and backstory of the first Atomic bomb in the past 6 years has always been an unsolved mystery. The production company took this as an opportunity to write the TV series "Manhattan 1" from the perspective of the story of the workers behind the development of the Atomic bomb.
