I had high expectations... but I felt that there was a bit of a gap in the end. It is undeniable that the outstanding creativity and hard work behind the film presents a look and feel that may be rare in my film watching career, but the story based on the case itself is really a bit weak. In the second half of the discussion about art and death and the sound of Vincent, a big bonus... Chris O'Dowd in the oil painting has become more cute, I really want to buy an oil painting of him!

To be amazed for only a few minutes, the idea of using a Van Gogh painting as the protagonist of his biography is truly extraordinary. But the idea is good, but it is quite difficult to apply it to a movie that is nearly 100 minutes long. The picture keeps shaking and jumping, and the viewing experience is quite poor. The painting itself is too flat and loses the depth of field, which is exactly the taboo of cinematography. Moreover, watching such a picture too much will also cause fatigue.
