During the shogunate era, Gongyijiecuoren (the executioner who beheaded the beheader) worshiped Yidao (played by Tomisaburo Wakayama) to execute the order of the upper class and behead a young local lord. After returning home, I dreamed that my wife and daughter were killed, and I had an ominous premonition. Yagyu's subordinates visit to worship Yidao and see the spiritual seat placed for the decapitated person in the hall, so he secretly informs the Yagyu family on the charge of treason.
After learning of the conspiracy, Bai Yiyi slashed his way, and led his only son, Daigoro (played by Fuchuan Jinghong), to break out of the siege. Since then, he has roamed the rivers and lakes and made a living as a bounty killer, known as "the scorpion wolf".
On this day, Bai Yidao received a new task. The old Sugito family of the Oyamada domain planned to assassinate the son of the lord. Ichimo, the old family member who learned the news, asked Bai Yidao to sabotage the assassination plan. Bai Yidao and Daigoro came to the canyon hot springs, waiting for the prey to appear.
