Humbertwent to teach in the United States and found the home of Mrs. Charlottewhile looking for a place to live . Humbert was not satisfied with the room provided by Mrs. Charlotte. When he was about to leave, he saw Lolitawas only 14 years old, in the garden behind the house . So he readily agreed to rent Mrs. Charlotte's room. After that, the three of them went to the movies together and attended the dance together. Humbert deliberately tried to get along with Lolita alone. In order to continue living with Lolita, Humbert unintentionally married Charlotte. But in the end Charlotte discovered Humbert's fascination with her daughter. An angry Charlotte rushed out of the house, but was killed in a car accident. After Charlotte’s death, Humbert went to the summer camp to pick up Lolita and started a car trip.

The first half is more like the so-called "erotic movie without erotic scenes", and I like it even more. Many of the treatments make people feel that the heroine is Kubrick's puppet, and it is he who is sultry. The second half focuses on the male protagonist's paranoia and the tragedy of his own pit. Some of them are too faulty and lengthy, and there is a feeling of pulling the story away and connecting with the flashback.
