The spaceship Churchill is close to 1P and wants to know its internal structure. Captain Tom Carlson led a team out of the cabin and found an abandoned spacecraft inside the comet, with mummified corpses of many strange creatures and three humans sleeping in crystal coffins. To unravel the mystery, Tom orders them to be taken back to the spaceship.
Thirty days later, the empty Churchill flew to Earth, and NASA sent the Columbia to dock with it. The astronauts found traces of burning and the three sleeping men in the ship, and all the crew members died. After returning to Earth, the female of the three (Mathilda May) suddenly wakes up and absorbs the spirit of the young guard. The guards then turned mummified and eventually weathered. Soon the other two awoke, as if a catastrophe was on the way to earth
