The film uses completely still images to tell a post-apocalyptic story. By then nuclear war had broken out and humanity was left with only a handful of fruits left, and a man became an experiment in time travel because he could recall something from his childhood. After a period of training and adaptation, he was sent back to the past, the eve of the nuclear war. He meets a woman ashore at The Jetty and falls in love with her. Towards the end of the experiment, a high-ranking race came to visit him, giving him a chance to fast-forward into the future and escape the catastrophe; but he refused, instead asking to stay in the past forever and be with the woman he loves.
