The advancement of the film’s plot is carried out during the day, night, eyes open, and eyes closed. This creates a comedy atmosphere of anti-spy warfare films: when the street is at a critical time, you close your eyes and escape the catastrophe. Once you open your eyes, you can enjoy the sun and sand on the unnamed island. Secondly, most of the supporting roles in Tom's movies will be deliberately arranged to be utterly unglamorous. Peter Sasgard and Paul Dano in "The Spy" are also brutally screenwritten, and the roles of Peter and Cruise The change of loyalty and traitor position is unconvincing. It seems that whoever the screenwriter wants to become a bad person is suddenly a bad person. The autistic brother Paul in "Little Beauty in the Sunshine" plays the role of a genius scientist this time, and the expression on his face always suggests: This guy must have a show for a while, but found out that it was from soy sauce. Without the evenly matched espionage atmosphere, only the soup and the charming girl will let me fly and leap forward. Although the action scenes of the film are hot, the plot setting is too old-fashioned, and it is obviously a "sense of humor" to save Brother Tom. ()
Agents, FBI, escape, gunfights, car chases, etc., elements that have long been common in many Hollywood spy war love movies are still the focus of the film, supporting the plot development of the entire movie. In addition to the director's commendable mastery of this type of action film, the plot and structure of the film can be said to have not many breakthroughs. You can still see the shadow of similar blockbusters in the past such as "Mission: Impossible". However, repeated shooting of the same subject will inevitably cause the audience’s aesthetic fatigue. The film does not have too many breakthroughs in the design of the action scenes and the setting of the entire plot. It is just the escape process of the hero and heroine, from Boston to the Alps, and then to Austria and Spain are not so much an escape, they are more like a journey of love between the two, a bit of a road movie. The funny and playful love between the two has become an important feature of the film, and the fast-paced narrative of the spy warfare has also changed and become more tender. ()
Relatively funny and romantic, the action scenes are not the highlight of "The Spy in Crisis". Throughout the entire film, there are only three places that can be called the big scene, the opening high-altitude plane fighting, the middle section of the highway chase, and the ending bandit duel. These scenes are more than thrilling and insufficiently exciting.
In "Dangerous Spy War", being cool and handsome has seriously endangered the spy war plot. "Pretty" is sold too much, and "soup" is diluted into water. This is an approach that does not pay for the gain, and it is an over-exploitation of the "beautiful" brother Atang. Although the film was filmed in many beautiful places around the world, and even shot exciting shots of the gunfight at the Spanish Bull Run, the plot was not solid enough to make these expensive filming experiences insignificant.
Thanks to modern photography technology, the details of "Dangerous Spy" are very well handled. Whether it is the model of the classic car or the big boots of Atang, the audience can pay more attention to the content. But the negative effect of this is that the hero and heroine look too old. After all, Tom and Diaz are not young anymore. As long as the tempo of the film is slightly slowed down, the wrinkles on their faces will be seen as soon as they appear in close-up. However, the cooperation between Tom and Diaz is relatively tacit, and they are familiar with playing ambiguous men and women. What Tang plays is not a traditional Gao Daquan agent, but a sniper master, and most of the nonsense is like a stand-up comedy. It is this trait that gives him a lovely side. Just imagine, if Atangu tried hard to create a 007 or Bernese tough guy, he would definitely not be as likable as he is now. Diaz's performance is qualified and in place, sometimes scornful, sometimes angry, able to act like a coquettish or playing, satisfying the fantasy of male audiences. ()
