The relationship between Plott and psychologists conforms to the rules of most film and television works (not the rules of psychologists), that is, the positions of doctors and patients will be reversed in the development of drama. The patient dug up the root of the disease. In this film, Plot sees that Dr. Mark Powell's workaholic spirit has affected his family relationship. This is also a common cliché and nothing new. However, the dialogue between Plott and Powell is the most admirable part of the film. The two acting masters played against each other and handled every line in a brilliant and colorful manner.
Kevin Spacey has always played a weird man with a high IQ. In this film, he played a role that only Jack Nicholson or Dustin Hoffman could do before. The shadow obscured. The alien missionary he plays has a sense of superiority in the world, but there is no lack of compassion. Here, Spassi's style is more convergent than Nicholson, and it is not until the end of the hypnotic scene that he shows his broad emotional span.
Jeff Bridges, who played with Spacy, did not lose at all. This solid acting general made Powell’s inner contradictions very decently. His intuition drove him to believe what Plot said. But his professional background had to make him ask a series of questions.
Apart from the protagonist's acting skills, "K Star Alien" is also commendable in its use of light. Various reflective objects appear on the screen, such as shop windows on the street, Mitsubishi shock paper decorations on the table, etc., injecting a trace of weirdness and mystery into the familiar environment, both as a hint of the source of Plot, and It's like creating the "fairy air" of the world. The symbolic meaning of some shots is interesting. For example, church spires and skyscrapers stand side by side in the sky, which means that both traditional religion and modern life can accept "God" messages. The key depends on whether you have aura.
The plot of the film is a bit loose, and many scenes that can be taken in one stroke (such as a doctor's family drama) are a bit lengthy, making people feel like watching another preaching film that has been watched many times.
