The film "Joshua" is a story about a smart and sick 9-year-old child, and it is also a creepy story. Director and screenwriter George Ratliff is a Christian fundamentalist who uses familiar plot elements like "demon seeds" to reflect some of the shadowy aspects of social life. However, George Ratliff did not fully implement these ideas in the film, and the ending on the religious content was also terrible, but with the emergence of the horror atmosphere in the film, these settings became clever and suspenseful   .
Although the film did not perform well in commercial distribution, "Joshua", which won the Sundance Film Festival's Best Photography Award, still has the ability to take a share of the Oscars in photography technology   .

Joshua quotes

  • Joshua Cairn: You know, you don't have to love me. That's not a rule of something.

Brad Cairn: But I I*do* love you. You're my boy. I'll always love you, no matter what.

  • Joshua Cairn: You know, someone died in this apartment.

    Brad Cairn: Oh, yeah?

    Abby Cairn: Really?

Brad Cairn: I'm pretty sure that's not true.

Joshua Cairn: If you think about it, someone has died on pretty much every inch of this planet. You know, dig down anywhere, and you'll find bones.
