In September 2017, the film party announced that the film will be released on May 17, 2019. On January 16, 2019, a pilot trailer and poster was released; on the 19th, a Hong Kong version of the trailer was released in Chinese characters. In March, a series of character posters were released one after another. In April, the film’s producer, Lionsgate, showed some of the clips in the film at the CinemaCon new film promotion. In May, the film party held a premiere in Los Angeles.
