Natalie Hershlag's performance is powerful and full of layers. It strikes a perfect balance between the approachable Jackie in 1961 and the veteran president's widow after her husband was assassinated. Laren's varied visual design and control of complex structures make this theme unique. Oppenheim's script is full of insights, but some of the dialogue is too long. What is gratifying is that the film has not become another rigid "Dialogue Nixon", nor has it been Oliver Stoneized.
The director’s smooth narrative of this puzzle-like movie reflects the subtlety of the script. Stephen Fontaine's lens weaves through the corridors of the White House, creating a sharp contrast between the dimness of Jackie's interview and the brightness of Kennedy's alive. Musician Mika Levy has dedicated a more traditional but still diversified soundtrack after the movie " Under The Skin ". In general, "Jackie" is an in-depth analysis of the inner world of a woman who has suddenly fallen from the highest point in her life
