Into the Storm evaluation action

"Into the Storm" tells the story of an unprecedented EF6 hurricane that raided a small town in the United States in an unpredictable tempo. The middle school vice principal Gary and his two sons, a hurricane follow-up team of four, and two The story of a drunk man who escaped from the dead. However, the shock of the disaster made people forget their external affairs in an instant, and only thought of who I would most like to be with and what to do if I could live. The shock comes from the real visual effects, and it is even misleading whether the director cut the shots in the documentary directly into the film: the flame tornado coiled like a fire dragon, the giant tornado with a diameter of thousands of meters, the rope-like tornado gathered, and the tornado was laid. The big formation, confined everyone in a hell cage, and instantly razed everything on the earth to the ground with a majestic aura of destruction. The nightmare-like hurricane makes people make a choice that may have hesitated for most of their lives without making up their minds in an instant. As long as we are together and still alive, life turns out to be so beautiful!
"Into the Storm" does not have first-line celebrities, and there is no perfect special effects. If you want to get the audience, you must rely on novelty to break through. The film uses multiple DV and multiple people indirect subjective perspectives to create a better sense of presence and realism. The purity of the refined style, the concentration of emotions, and the shock of the special effects are all lagging behind. It looks pretty hard, but in the end it is just a boring pseudo-blockbuster.

Although the special effects are better than the tornado, the layout is much smaller than that. There is no sense of crazy and bloody chase. Everyone (even the scientists and the film crew) is just panicking Zhang Huang's escape. So other than seeing the big wind ring open its mouth and wow twice, I don't feel much.

Into the Storm quotes

  • Pete: Great, we missed another one.

    [into the radio mic]

Pete: Hey you guys know the point of this documentary is to actually film a tornado, right?

Daryl: [answering on the radio] 10-4.

    Jacob: We need a tornado.

Pete: We need a tornado. When's the last time we saw one?

Lucas: That EF-4 that we shot for the Weather Channel last year.

Pete: Oh, so that makes us zero-for-365. What does that make our average? Jacob, you play baseball, right?

    Jacob: Hockey, actually.

Lucas: Really? I play lacrosse, man.

    Jacob: Really? No way.

Pete: [laughing sarcastically] This is fun, just like a family road trip.

    Jacob: Did I miss something?

Pete: No Jacob, you miss... everything. Although we do have four hundred hours of clouds and sunsets and us going to every drive-in from Idaho to Texas, which makes this the most expensive home movie ever.

Jacob: Just to be clear, we still get paid whether we see a tornado or not, right?... Right?

  • Donnie: [to the camera] And Trey, live everyday like it's your last. 'Cause shit, someday it will be.
