"Interstellar" is arguably one of director Christopher Nolan's best works. It is more important than the chronicle he created in "Shards of Memory", and more impressive than the twisted plot in "Inception" Profound, more daunting than reimagining Batman in "Batman: The Mystery of Shadows" as the most unique superhero series of the 21st century. The film is not only a high-cost science fiction novel, but also a simple story about love and sacrifice. It contains impatience, thrills, hope and heartbreak. The creation of the film is an amazing achievement, worth watching on the largest screen and with the best sound system.
"Interstellar" can be said to be a science fiction novel, not a space drama. It is not only a futuristic fantasy, but should be understood as the term "science fiction" was created for it. The film proposes a viable future and space travel. Although feasible, it is full of danger and uncertainty. A spaceship is not just as simple as flying from one planet to another. There is no laser or missiles launched here. It uses dangerous and unpredictable methods to enter the black hole in order to travel through long distances.
Time expansion is produced in the presence of black holes, which is related to quantum mechanics and Einstein's theory of relativity. This film is different from science fiction films such as "Star Wars", "Star Trek" or "Guardians of the Galaxy." Anyone who comes to watch the film with such expectations will be disappointed. The film is more like the feeling of the movies "Time and Space Contact" and "Gravity", because it recognizes science and does not use some rules beyond the scope of human understanding.
