As the light dimmed, and as the city entered a deep sleep, two forces appeared. They are invisible. In order to gain power, they enter our sleep and compete through our souls. One kind of power is kind, which conveys hope and power to people through dreams; the other kind of evil power is to spread despair through nightmares in our subconscious. John and Em are the father and daughter in the play. They are twisted into a desperate contest in this dream. They want to fight for John's soul and rescue Em from the endless nightmare. In the process of moving forward separately, they encountered many characters and roles that can only be encountered subconsciously. Ink is a super-minded and visible entity that can drift between the conscious and the subconscious.
