Ingrid Goes West negative comment

The screenwriter skillfully set up some classic comedy sections to make the plot go smoothly, but like a storm sweeping away the crops, the last scene of the film may be more unpleasant than the producers thought. A good script does not tell everything, but the motivations of the characters in the film are sometimes too unclear. They are more like being driven by the plot, rather than from real human desires. On the other hand, the fast editing and montage of the film are as dazzling as one might expect, but in the end it is as boring as the social media it shows
. ("Hollywood Reporter" review)
The film is basically the same as similar movies in terms of personality, and the overall plot development looks rather stale. The director just tells a comedy story through social networks, it seems that he has not proposed new reflections and insights.
