In the House movie plot

The French Republic college literature teacher Gilmangave the students a weekly diary, asking them to truthfully record what they saw during the weekend. Among the many boring assignments, Gilman accidentally discovered that 16-year-old Claudewrote a wonderful article. Claude is a quiet observer, accustomed to sitting in the last row of the classroom.
