The story takes place in a unique town in New Zealand, centered on an abnormal family. The film consists of three parts: the story of a minor, the story of returning home, and the weird gothic story. Hearing the news of his father’s death, Paul (Matthew McFedien), an internationally renowned war correspondent, rushed home from Europe to attend the funeral. This is the first time he has set foot on New Zealand’s homeland in 17 years. His visit was shocked. When the elder brother Andrew is reached, the two people who are very different in personalities are just like strangers. Andrew is a devout believer. Under a half-coercive attitude, he asked Paul to leave his father’s inheritance to deal with the aftermath. So Paul went to the secret house where his father Jeff loved to go, a library of literature, wine and philosophical thinking. When he started to liquidate the relics, he unexpectedly discovered.
