The film is based on a true story, Michael Glatz. He was an important gay activist in the United States, and he is also gay, and founded the teenage gay magazine "YGA". But in 2004, due to a heart attack, he suddenly turned into a conservative Christian, saying goodbye to same-sex identity and marriage, advocating "de-gay" and claiming that homosexuality is a "porn film" that poisons teenagers.
