Director Lawrence is very good at dealing with luxurious scenes, and he is also very smart, allowing Smith to maintain his true colors, but CGI monsters seem to be incompatible with such sci-fi plots.
Smith is worth seeing, the film is not worth it.
People cannot correctly judge whether this is an adventurous fiction or a second-rate horror film, but this is not a fatal flaw.
The entertainment elements of the film are handled properly, but there is a sense of urban despair that lingers.
After the fascinating opening, "I Am A Legend" transformed into a zombie slaughter feast, reminiscent of Danny Boyle's "28 Days Later" (28 Days Later) and its sequel " 28 Weeks Later.
It's creepy, and decorated with the shocking effect of a low-level horror film.
"I Am a Legend" is actually a film in which the last real movie star on the planet plays the last man on the planet.
Although there are a lot of jokes in it, the film is still more rigid and weird than the usual large-scale monster movies in terms of creating an optimistic atmosphere.
Smith's highly infectious performance was not enough to save "I Am A Legend"-an action film that was thoughtful and fascinating about loneliness from the beginning. It gradually changed wrongly and never got back on track.
Most of the things in "I Am A Legend" feel like they were pulled from other places.
