The ordinary synthetic people in the play do not have the same self-awareness as humans. In short, they do not possess human emotions and logic. They are more like machines, whose bounden duty is to execute human commands.
In addition to ordinary synthetic humans, there are actually six advanced synthetic humans in the world, created by Professor David. Professor David was busy with work and neglected to take care of his son Leon, so he created 4 high-level synthetic humans with self-awareness and thinking like human beings. Later Leon was killed by his mentally ill mother Beatrice. The latter committed suicide. The painful Professor David then made Beatrice’s artificial intelligence robot Karenand took the memory of his son Leon from his brain. Extracted from it and stored it in a chip, making Leon a half-human and half-machine.
A suburban family with a strained family relationship bought a second-hand synthetic human in order to change their lifestyle, but they soon realized that living with a synthetic human would have terrible and far-reaching consequences. At least the family’s second-hand robot hides one Dark secrets.
Later, the government discovered the existence of these six high-level synthetic humans. They can only hide in the human world and use other identities to hide their true self to prevent human beings from being caught
