In order to produce the film, director Jan Altis-Bertrand and his team visited 65 countries around the world in 3 years and interviewed 2020 people of different races, genders, and ages. These interviewees include: Half of them are randomly selected,
and they will be asked 40 questions covering different topics such as love, family relationship, war, religion, death, etc. In the documentary, the director deliberately obscured the identity, nationality, and origin of each person, and only provided their experience on the earth, and the audience could only guess some background information from their narration.
