New York City psychologist David Chalawihas a happy family, but his wife suddenly committed suicide on New Year’s Eve. His 11-year-old daughter Emilytook the blow. The next is almost aphasia. In order to help his daughter heal the psychological trauma, David moved his home from downtown New York to a secluded suburb. David thought that he could forget the past and live a peaceful life with his daughter. But he didn't expect his daughter's behavior to become even weirder. She made friends with an imaginary friend "Charlie", and even played Hide and Seek games all day long. Slowly, this illusory "Charlie" intervened deeply in the life of David's family; then a series of strange deaths happened one after another, which was creepy, and the daughter said that "Charlie" did it. So David was determined to find the answer.
