Heli is full of confrontation and violence. The film's plot is very realistic, but the director's frequent use of long takes, jumpy cuts and peculiar camera movements, has become a failure.
The film starts off with a long shot that starts with a close-up of two bloodied corpses in a truck, and it's an excellent shot. The sequence ends with a shocking hanging, after which the film begins a flashback.
