After returning from the Gulf battlefield, Jim Daviscan no longer retrieve his original life trajectory. The remnants of the fear of war are still eating away at his mind, and the nightmare that he can't get rid of makes him often awakened in the dark night. He is anxiously looking forward to becoming a police officer of the Los Angeles Police Department, but this job is nowhere in sight. He told himself that as long as he has a job, everything will be solved. He will marry his beloved Mexican girlfriend Martaand take her back to his hometown to stay together.
But the reality is cruel. Jim must find another way out to serve the country without getting tired of office life. Howeverthe experience of his hard-core friend Mike Alvirazstill makes him chill. Although Mike has never been a soldier, he is also an unemployed youth like Jim. Although Mike’s girlfriend Sylviaentered the law school with Mike’s help, she wanted a well-matched lover, not A parasite, the relationship between the two is on the verge of collapse, so Mike desperately needs a job. Jim decides to help Mike find a job, but the two show off in the chaos of the back streets, and they make trouble everywhere as they did in childhood. Jim and Mike went for a drive together, looked for excitement together, planned a magnificent future together, and made trouble together wherever they went.
Jim received a call from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Department of Homeland Security. Unfortunately, Jim and Mike, who were eager to find jobs, encountered a darker situation, surrounded by violence and disputes. They no longer need to find trouble because trouble is everywhere. The city began to put pressure on them. Every choice Jim and Mike made was not only a test of each other's loyalty, but also a testament to their ability to survive on the despicable streets   .
